Today I come with a prop from one of my all times favorite anime, Elfen Lied.
This is Lucy's helmet from the opening scene of the series.
The design differs slightly from the animation, I moved the "eyes" up a bit and made holes instead of lenses so that I can actually wear the helmet and see through it.
I created a simple pattern so it's very easy to put together. I mostly used 6 mm EVA foam and some 2 mm craft foam for the details on the back. As usual you can find the pattern for Lucy's helmet in the Patterns and blueprints section of the blog. This is really a quick build, I put it together over the weekend.
